Morgellon’s. The Disease that may or may not be real.

I recently came across a trailer for a new documentary that GRABBED my attention. It’s about what’s called Morgellon’s by some and lunacy by others. Some doctors say it is all in the patients head, a psychosomatic illness. Honestly I don’t know what to believe. There’s some pretty convincing footage on the documentary trailer and you’ll find some with a quick google search. Its bizarre how contradicting the opposite opinions are. Raw Diet Can Be Confusing 

So I’m two months into feeding my dog a raw diet and I still feel like I barely know anything. Just when you feel like you have this figured out you come across a Facebook forum post or an obscure blog post and you find your self questioning everything. Yesterday I just found out over 30 percent of all chicken is injected with salt water solution. Most chicken at my store isn’t even labeled with nutritional info so I have no clue if the chicken leg quarters I feed are appropriate or not. I’m having to Email HEB to figure the nutritional info out because the sodium content can be crazy high in some of this commercial chicken. The ground turkey iv been feeding (Honeysuckle lean) turns out it’s no good either. Sodium content was 125mg per 4oz serving (shouldn’t be more than 80mg per 4 oz serving). Ughhhh that’s why it’s good to keep looking, keep researching this stuff. Once you think you have raw diet figured out don’t stop seeking out knowledge because you may be surprised to find how little you really know.

Dr Sarno, a Miracle Doctor?

I first came across Doctor Sarno by accident about four years ago. I was on Youtube just browsing around scary vids  and stumbled across a video of Howard Stern talking about this amazing Dr. that helped essentially cure him of his back pain. Here’s the vid this really caught my attention because for the year prior I had been struggling with everyday back pain. I finally got X-Rays done and was told I had a compression fracture.

This guy’s methods really sounded strange and out of this world. I thought it was absolute garbage. I’ve always been curious and interested in weird and odd things so I decided to do some research on this guy. (just for giggles) I was amazed at what I stumbled upon. I was expecting to find lots of hate websites debunking the guy but I actually found the opposite. First I found this 20/20 special on Dr Sarno where 20/20 host John Stossel claimed to be healed as well.

I also found an article from   Forbes where a writer for Forbes was healed just like Stern and Stossel was. I immediately looked up Sarno’s book on amazon to read the reviews. https://www.amazon.com/Healing-Back-Pain-Mind-Body-Connection/dp/0446557684 I was pleasantly surprised once again. Almost 1500 comments almost all of them positive with over 4.5 stars.

Since all of the links I posted break down John Sarno’s theories better than I do I’ll just let you check out his methods for yourself.
